Clever Video Animates a Charles Bukowski Poem Using Lettering Found Throughout the City Streets

New York City based art director Rodrigo Burman created this interesting video project which brings the words of the late American poet Charles Bukowski to life on the City streets. At first glance, you may thing these are ordinary street scenes, but the words of the poem, the spoken narration, are included in each scene as manipulations of the natural looking typography you would normally see.

A video poem about the art of writing. By Charles Bukowski. Filmed in NYC in the spring of 2014. It's part of the project HOW ABOUT...? which will run cities inspired by poems and poems that inspire cities.
