YouTuber Chris Blechschmidt captured these seven F-16 fighter jets flying over New York City in formation yesterday morning at around 9:40am.
The U.S. Air Force jets are in town as part of this weekend's New York Air Show at Stewart International Airport, just a short drive north of the City.
The U.S. Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron, known to all the world as the “Thunderbirds” are the Air Force’s Ambassadors in Blue. They represent the 500,000 men and women of the Unites States Air Force. The Thunderbirds plan and present precision aerial maneuvers to exhibit the capabilities of modern, high-performance aircraft and the high degree of professional skill required to operate those aircraft.
