Ever wonder what's underneath your feet when walking through Manhattan? Check out this Infrastructural Cross Section of Manhattan from the AIA Guide, First ed. published in 1967. While there have been changes since then, most of these underground tunnels still exist and gives you a rough idea of what is where, and how deep it is.
