Check Out This GIANT Soup Dumpling at Drunken Dumpling in the East Village

Drunken Dumpling is a new dumpling and Chines food restaurant on 1st Ave. between 8th and 9th Street in the East Village. The small restaurant is quickly making a name for itself not only for its delicious food, but for its GIANT-sized soup dumpling, literally the size of a grapefruit.

In this video from our friends at Eater, watch as hosts Nick Solares and Serena Dai head to Drunken Dumpling to see what its all about.

It is impossible to deny the allure of a soup dumpling — a perfectly portioned package of goodness, steamed and stuffed with flavor. At the East Village’s Drunken Dumpling, the love affair goes one step further, blowing up the Xiao Long Bao to an epic size (seriously: you have to eat this with a straw). On this episode of Consumed, Eater NY news editor Serena Dai and host of The Meat Show Nick Solares visit the establishment to sample some of their supersized wares.
