Check Out This Collection of Quirky New York City Subway Doodles Featuring Cute Aliens and Monsters

Local digital artist Ben Rubin (previously) spends a lot of time riding the New York City subway to work every day. To help pass the time, the artist draws quick doodles on top of real photos using his iPad, then publishes them all onto an amazing Instagram account.

The New York subway can be a pretty strange place even at the best of times, but as you can see from these creepy doodles, it looks positively normal when compared to Ben Rubin's nightmarish version of it. Rubin is the artist behind Subway Doodles, an Instagram page with over 162k followers. He makes the most of his daily commute from Park Slope in Brooklyn to his office in Manhattan by drawing freakish monsters beside unsuspecting subway passengers. Take a look at some of our favorites.
