When it comes to iconic breakfast foods, a giant stack of pancakes drowning in maple syrup always hits the spot. At the Williamsburg all-day restaurant, Sunday in Brooklyn, they’re pushing the iconic stack to new heights both literally and metaphorically. Their supersized tower of three fluffy, malted pancakes comes drenched in a rich maple hazelnut syrup and melted brown butter. Chef Jaime Young modeled his eye-catching stacks off the pancakes he remembers seeing in cartoons growing up. “For me like a cartoon pancake is big and fluffy and the syrup drips all over it and you're like, ‘Wow. That's something I'd like to eat in the morning every day.’”
