Check Out the Pancakes Inspired by Sunday Morning Cartoons at This Williamsburg Restaurant

Sunday In Brooklyn is a new restaurant located near Domino Park and the Williamsburg Waterfront that serves up delicious breakfast, brunch, and dinner daily with modern, inventive dishes inspired by the classics. In this short video from our friends at Thrillist, see how their beautiful stack of pancakes was inspired by Sunday morning cartoons.

When it comes to iconic breakfast foods, a giant stack of pancakes drowning in maple syrup always hits the spot. At the Williamsburg all-day restaurant, Sunday in Brooklyn, they’re pushing the iconic stack to new heights both literally and metaphorically. Their supersized tower of three fluffy, malted pancakes comes drenched in a rich maple hazelnut syrup and melted brown butter. Chef Jaime Young modeled his eye-catching stacks off the pancakes he remembers seeing in cartoons growing up. “For me like a cartoon pancake is big and fluffy and the syrup drips all over it and you're like, ‘Wow. That's something I'd like to eat in the morning every day.’”
