Street Artist David Choe is the latest to put up a new mural on the famous Bowery Art Wall on Houston Street and Bowery. The mural is a massive, colorful presentation of characters that Choe, his sister, and his kids all helped paint.
I am scared and fearful 😧 that the only way to make great powerful art is through pain anguish heartbreak anger and struggle - I never thought it possible to create staggering transcendent artwork while being happy and filled with joy and love , and to be fair maybe it's not - but who cares, I am happy 😊 and full of love and had the most magical inspiring surreal enlightening week painting a mural with my sisters and kids and the energy of New York and shot it out of my body in the most honest expression of art and energy I've ever felt - it was very emotional for me to Finish this painting last night at 4am... is anything ever really finished ?
