Star Wars Day is this Thursday. If you are asking yourself why the movie Star Wars gets its own day, let me remind you that the date on Thursday is 05/04, or May 4th, or better yet May the 4th… as in May the 4th be with you.
To celebrate, Battery Park City Parks is hosting a free outdoor movie event at Rockefeller Park from 8pm to 10:45pm. You may want to get there early and use the force to secure your spot on the grass.
Grab a spot on the lawn in front the big screen. Enjoy the excitement, action, magic and fun as heroes Rey, Finn, Poe and BB-8 battle the evil Kylo Ren and his sinister First Order. Bring a blanket, a picnic dinner and your favorite costume from a galaxy far, far away.
