Check Out Halo-Halo, a Healthy Filipino Dessert From Ube Kitchen in Brooklyn's Smorgasburg

Halo-Halo is a healthy dessert served from the Phillippines that usually includes a variety of fruits mixed mixed with ice cream and other ingredients and served chilled. Smorgasburg's Ube Kitchen has a version that includes organic granola, diced mangos, semi-sweetened black beans, blackberries, raspberries, ube ice cream, mini tapioca, and diced dragon fruit drizzled with coconut milk and toasted coconut flakes, all served inside a hollowed out dragon fruit shell. Check out how it's made in this video from our friends at Insider.

Ube Kitchen at NYC's Smorgasburg is putting a new twist on halo-halo, a popular traditional Filipino dessert served in a fruit cup. Yum!
