Bringing the Jungle into Queens: Hórama Rama by Pedro & Juana at MoMA PS1

“Things are constantly happening in the world and we are totally interconnected and we wanted to play with that idea…that’s why we brought the jungle into Queens.” In this video, Ruiz Galindo and Reuss share their vision for how their structure Hórama Rama will function throughout MoMA PS1’s Warm Up summer music festival, and how it alters the changing horizon of the neighborhood. Ana Paula Ruiz Galindo and Mecky Reuss of Pedro & Juana discuss Hórama Rama, the 2019 winner of The Museum of Modern Art and MoMA PS1’s annual Young Architects Program.
