Booze & Bureaucracy, a Short Documentary About the Challenges of Running a Night Club in the City

Booze & Bureaucracy is a short documentary film created by Brooklyn resident and The Atlantic journalist Roy Klabin.

It attempts to expose some of the bureaucracy behind the letter grading system run by the City's Department of Health and examine how it adversely affects the nightlife industry.

Examining the decline of nightlife in New York City, where gentrified neighborhoods, aggressive city councils and overzealous bureaucracies have made owning a nightlife venue financially grueling.
