Designed by the famed architecture firm, McKim, Mead & White, Gould Memorial Library was donated by the daughter of railroad baron Jay Gould to become the centerpiece of New York University’s Bronx campus. The years were not kind. In the 1960s the library was relocated, and the building fell into disuse. In 1969, a nearby explosion blew out the then-deserted building’s Tiffany window. It wasn't until 2004 that the library, now owned by Bronx Community College, was restored.

Hey guys! My name is Josh and I'm a 17 year old photographer from New York City. For years I have looked up at the beautiful buildings of the city and I had a strong desire to see the views the buildings held. Over the past year I embarked on a mission to take pictures from some of the rarest, priciest, and stunning views of New York City. These photos were a result of countless hours of networking with building managers, tenants, residents, and anyone else who could help me see the unseen. All shots were taken legally.
