Bethesda Terrace...💕
The stonework of the terrace is a riot of symbolic carvings and mini sculptures, and there's much fun to be looking for the most intriguing of the carving, found on one of the stone posts at the top of the stairs, a flying witch on her broomstick above a jack-o'-lantern pumpkin. This may be a reference to the Irish immigrants who built the terrace and brought Halloween to America with them.
