Retailer Anthropologie is now selling a recreation of the vintage New York City "Ash Cans" with their $99 West Village Corrugated Can. According to the product page, the corrugated can is:
- Handmade
- Corrugated tin can;
- mango wood or abaca rope handle
- Wipe with dry cloth
- Imported
Would you buy a reproduction of a rusty old trash can for $99 (down from $149), just to get your piece of Old New York? Neither would I.
