Aerial Coverage of Firefighters Battling the East Village Explosion

By now you have heard about the explosion and subsequent fire that rocked the East Village yesterday, resulting in two collapsed buildings. This aerial video from YouTube uploader Upgrayedd EV was shot using a remote-controlled helicopter around 5:30pm, right as firefighters were battling the blaze.

The full 6 minutes of uninterrupted aerial views of the efforts to extinguish the fire really helps you realize the full scope of devastation that occurred on this block yesterday.
