A Rave for Children Exists in New York City

About once a month, Cielo Nightclub in the Meatpacking District hosts an afternoon rave for children ages 6-12 called CirKiz. They have all you would expect from an adult rave, minus the alcohol, drugs and sex (a.k.a the "good parts"). The "glow station" has free snacks and water for kids, and for the parents who ditched their kids on the dance-floor, a full bar. You can rent it out for birthday parties or stop by with your little ones for any of their non-private raves.
