A High-Line Style Park is Coming to Staten Island and You Could Help Design it

From the inspiration of the High Line, comes the next park to help transform one of the City's boroughs. This time it'll be in Staten Island and they've currently announced a competition for architectural designs of this future high level park. The park will sit atop .53 miles of the abandoned North Shore rail line. The people behind the project believe the redevelopment of this present illegal-dumping area will only bring positive changes to the neighborhood. It could take several years for the park to be finished, but the idea is truly wonderful. For anyone interested in taking part in the project, competition information can be found through 6sqft. Good luck!
