What do Staten Island Women Think of the "Staten Island Girl" Stereotype?

The Staten Island Girl stereotype, fueled in part by trashy reality-shows like "My Super Sweet 16" and "Jersey Shore", is one that the borough's women are trying to disassociate themselves with.

It's no secret S.I. took a pop culture pummeling over the last decade. Women, specifically, catch the worst stereotyping. (Thanks in no small part to MTV's infamous "My Super Sweet 16" in 2005 and "True Life: I'm a Staten Island Girl" in 2007.) So, how can we reverse the reality TV wreckage? We took to the streets to find out.
