We all know there are credit cards scammers out there, but do you really know how they do what they do, how they get away with it, and what you can do to prevent it from happening to you? In this excellent mini-documentary from VICE, follow a couple of Brooklyn-based credit card scammers as they detail their process.
Street crime and drug dealing have declined over the last two decades. The drug game is old news for young hustlers, and credit card fraud (cracking cards) has taken its place. There is an estimated 4 billion dollars a year being syphoned from bank accounts from around the globe with Brooklyn, NY being a hotspot for a lot of these young scammers.
