Neil deGrasse Tyson is a celebrity astrophysicist, host of several science-based television shows, web-series and radio podcasts. He grew up in bronx, then earned his BA in Physics from Harvard and his PhD in Astrophysics from Columbia. Currently, he acts as the director of the Hayden Planetarium and a research associate at the American Museum of Natural History. The New York Daily News recently got to peek into Tyson's office at the Planetarium and got a guided tour of some of the more interesting items that inspire the scientist.
