Urban Explorer Humza Deas Shows us a Side of the City You've Never Seen Before

We've covered the photography of urban explorer Humza Deas before on Viewing NYC, but this new video from Greenlabel sheds new light on his background, motivation and process.

Some of today's most popular Instagram feeds feature what some would consider to be "viewfinder daredevils." You'll find these urban explorers with their kicks dangling from heights that would give the Dark Knight a rare spell of vertigo, or deep within graffiti-tinged, cavernous depths of the city capturing images some of us only dream of. The folks behind these handles often live a life of secrecy and don't let outsiders in. In their line of work, it's integral that they stay Hidden. Fortunately, we were able to connect with Humza Deas of New York City and get a glimpse of what it takes to capture some of the most breathtaking photos of New York City you may ever see.

Check out more of Humza Deas on his Instagram account @humzadeas.
