The Secret to Finding Your Way Around Central Park Without a Map

The 35-year-old Central Park Conservancy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that seeks to "to restore, manage, and enhance Central Park in partnership with the public." The conservancy heroically covers about 75% of the operational costs of the park, with public funds picking up the rest.

In this video from Business Insider, Central Park Conservancy historian and photographer Sara Cedar Miller reveals some of the parks hidden secrets, including a way to easily find your way around without a map by using only lamp posts.

New York City's Central Park is a 843-acre oasis from the hustle and bustle of the big apple. The historic park was designed in the 19th century and houses its fair share of secrets beneath its trees and along its winding paths.
