The Hip Hop Project is an interesting new website created by Parson's MFA candidate Regina Flores Mir in which the lyrics from well-known rap hits are mashed up with pieces from collections in the Met.

Using the words from rap lyrics as key-word searches through the Met's digital archive of over 200,000 works of art, users can experience a curated "tour" of the work at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The project seeks to attract viewers who love rap and provide them with a new way to engage with the museum's collection.
