Take a Look at Vintage Photographs the Bronx in 1970s That Look Straight Out of The Get Down

As you may have heard, Netflix's newest critically acclaimed series, The Get Down features the 1970s Bronx. While investigating the real life inspirations for the Get Down's origins, Bustle gathered a set of vintage photographs from the 70s that seem taken right out of The Get Down. From the "The Bronx is burning" to abandoned buildings to graffiti the photos are a cool glimpse into the Bronx's past.
