First, it's never a good idea to jump a subway turnstile if you are short of fare. Second, if you do decide to cheat the MTA out of $2.75, it's probably best to jump the standard turnstiles and not climb over the giant rotating metal gates. Third, if you decide to climb over the gates, try not to get stuck, preventing that gate from being used until the FDNY can come and rescue you.

Today's Subway Etiquette Tip: If you are going to be an idiot on the New York City subway, try not to inconvenience other people when doing so.
