Spotlight on Broadway Features "The Namesakes", Broadway Theaters Named After Broadway Luminaries

Spotlight on Broadway is a media project setup by the New York City Mayor's Office of Media & Entertainment while under Bloomberg that seeks to celebrate the unique aspects of the 40 different venues in the Theater District that make it "Broadway". Part of the project includes creating behind the scenes looks and historical episodes like this one, The Namesakes. This episode highlights theaters named after broadway luminaries: it's famous playwrights, composers and owners.
