The MTA released this fantastic film entitled Rapid Transit to their official YouTube channel a few years back. The short 10 minute film seems to have been produced as a training/recruitment video for train conductors, detailing train maintenance, safety checks, track management and brief tutorials on controls. It's a great vintage look at our Subway system from the conductor point of view, one that is rarely revealed by the normally tight-lipped MTA.
