Zooming in to the full version, you can see many pieces of the City that are still here today such as Trinity Church, Bellevue Hospital, and Union, Madison and Tomkins Square Parks.

Add "rising ocean levels" to the list of New Yorkers' concerns, because the city is sinking, a new study finds. The study says that New York City is literally sinking under its own weight. “We can’t sit around and wait for a critical threshold of sea level rise to occur, because waiting could mean we would be missing out on taking anticipatory action and preparedness measures,” said Andrew Kruczkiewicz, a senior researcher at Columbia University’s Climate School.
