There is a lot of stuff going on the City, and we can't write about it all. Here are some interesting things some of our friends have written up lately.

[VIDEO] Some Monster Left This Cute Pit Bull Tied Up to a Forest Tree in The Bronx

Animal-lover's website The Dodo recently posted this crushing video of how some monster tied up a poor pitbull to a tree in the middle of a forest off of the Bronx Parkway. Luckily, a nearby jogger spotted the dog, called it in, and the pup was able to be rescued. Now she lives a happy life with her rescuer. Check out the video for the rest of the happy ending.

This Incredible Cobble Hill Townhouse has a Moon Light, Climbing Wall, and a Two-Story Bookshelf

Interior Lives with Wendy Goodman is an interesting series from New York Magazine and The Cut that reveals the interiors of New Yorker's homes. Similar to MTV Cribs but for normal New Yorkers, the series gives you a revealing peek into just what might be hiding behind your (rich) neighbor's walls. In this episode, visit a beautiful townhouse in Cobble Hill that seamlessly combines the new with the old.

With the collaboration of Leroy Street Studio and Brook Landscape, Olivia Song has created an oasis for her husband and two young boys in the renovation of their 1840 townhouse in Cobble Hill, with a climbing wall, moon light fixtures and a two-story bookshelf. In this episode of Interior Lives with our design editor, Wendy Goodman, see how Olivia’s work and design eye has yielded a dramatic house that is family friendly through and through.
