There are 76 restaurants in New York City which have earned at least one coveted star in the 2019 Michelin Guide. This summer's NYC Restaurant Week has 381 participating restaurants. Here is where those lists intersect.
There are nine restaurants that appear on both lists, with seven of them earning 1 Michelin star, and two earning 2-stars… sort of.

2 Star Michelin Restaurants
Nougatine at Jean-Georges, American New, Manhattan, Upper West Side
Though technically not 2 stars, Nougatine at Jean-Georges does offer much of the same tasting menu as its 2-star Jean-Georges restaurant, and is located adjacent the restaurant.
Perhaps the best way to sample dishes from one of world-famous chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s menus without breaking the bank is by dining at Nougatine, an overlooked gem on the Upper West Side. Attached to Jean-Georges in Trump Tower, Nougatine offers a three-course lunch of fresh, dramatically inventive French food six days a week for less than $25.
The Bar Room at The Modern, American (New), Midtown, Manhattan
The Bar Room at The Modern is another restaurant that has a casual variant to its 2-star sibling restaurant and offers much of the same menu.
Founded by Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group, The Modern is a Michelin-starred contemporary American restaurant at the Museum of Modern Art. The lively Bar Room offers chef Abram Bissell's seasonal contemporary cooking à la carte, along with an award-winning wine program along with carefully curated cocktails, beer and spirits. Guests have the option of sitting in The Bar Room, the adjacent lounge, or at the vibrant 24-seat marble bar.
Ai Fiori on 5th and 36th offers gourmet dishes from the French and Italian riviera in an elegant setting.
The Langham Place Fifth Avenue's signature restaurant, Ai Fiori, is the newest venture from acclaimed chef Michael White and the Altamarea Group. Celebrating cuisine from the Italian and French Riviera, Ai Fiori's inspired menu blends traditional Italian fare with a brave, modern perspective. Ai Fiori is a bold new addition to New York's celebrated restaurant landscape, featuring an inviting bar and lounge with an extensive cocktail and wine list crafted by the restaurant's renowned beverage professionals. Located a short walk up the Langham Place Fifth Avenue's sweeping grand staircase to the second floor, Ai Fiori's ambiance is elegant yet welcoming. The restaurant's striking floral arrangements and décor will embrace you in warmth and refinement.
Bâtard is a contemporary and upscale restaurant offering modern takes on European classics.
Winner of the 2015 James Beard Award for Best New Restaurant in America, Michelin-starred Bâtard continues Drew Nieporent's commitment to Tribeca, in the space that housed Montrachet and Corton. Chef Markus Glocker's modern European menu reflects his Austrian heritage and diverse experiences.
Café Boulud is an Upper East Side restaurant offering French / New American cuisine finely executed.
Daniel Boulud’s tribute to the original Café Boulud in Lyon, France, this version doesn’t evoke a sense of “town folk charm” like the original does, but it is quite comfortable and well appointed with murals of the French countryside, elegant place settings and even sidewalk seating. The avuncular clientele here enjoy the finely executed cuisine, and the standouts include the Hudson Valley foie gras, the braised octopus terrine and the English pea raviolini with bacon.
Casa Mono is a Spanish restaurant on Irving Place in Gramercy that serves up small dishes of delectable tapas.
Casa Mono and its attached tapas joint Bar Jamón, Mario Batali and Andy Nusser's love letters to Spain, are located near historic Gramercy Park and just steps away from the Union Square subway lines. Their kitchen has been awarded a Michelin Star each of the past five years, and features raciones of Catalan specialties as well as dishes from all corners of Spain. Casa Mono and Bar Jamón proudly offer a world-class, all-Spanish wine list that has been awarded Wine Spectator's Best of Award of Excellence for the past five years.
Junoon is a contemporary restaurant offering a modern and sophisticated take on classic Indian dishes using a wide array of spices and flavors.
"Junoon" is an Urdu word, also frequently used in Hindi, meaning "passion" or "obsession," and it's an indication of the dedication that went into this restaurant. In addition to the 100-seat restaurant is a 45-seat private dining area and a 50-seat cocktail bar and lounge. The refined menu covers all the bases of Indian cooking, from tandoor to cast-iron and open-fire-pit cooking to stone-searing. Highlights include lobster tandoori, Cornish hen with pomegranate and roasted cumin, and lamb shoulder with papaya juice and garam masala. Other unusual touches for an Indian restaurant: organic, sustainably raised ingredients and an impressive wine list.
The Musket Room is a unique, upscale restaurant in Nolita that provides a modern menu inspired by an era in New Zealand when adventure and discovery blossomed.
The Musket Room brings the spirit of New Zealand and the country’s diverse cuisine to Manhattan’s Nolita neighborhood. Chef and owner Matt Lambert, a New Zealand native, created a menu that charts the evolution of New Zealand cuisine, from the country’s Old World traditions and Asian influences to its modern day dedication to local and seasonal offerings. Inspired by an era in New Zealand when adventure and discovery blossomed, The Musket Room offers a modern approach to the country’s culinary past, serving dinner and drinks. The restaurant has received one Michelin star every year since opening in 2013.
Tuome, American (New), Asian Fusion, Manhattan, Alphabet City
Tuome is a contemporary American and Asian-fusion restaurant in a small Alphabet City location that is filled with reclaimed, local materials.
Tuome is a critically acclaimed East Village restaurant by chef/owner Thomas Chen, whose ingredient-driven contemporary American menu showcases his classic culinary training with Asian influences. The menu features items like octopus with pork XO sauce; chicken liver mousse with New York maple; and crispy deviled eggs with chili; and larger dishes like chicken porridge with basil sauce, and fan favorite, Pig Out for two (Berkshire pork, spicy peanut noodle and condiments), along with sides like sticky rice with duck fat. Evoking the East Village's relaxed character, the intimate space showcases rustic reclaimed materials given a modern update.
Of course, there are many more great restaurants participating in this summer's NYC Restaurant Week and they shouldn't be overlooked, but these nine above have been awarded at least one Michelin star and are offering discounted fares, so definitely check them out by making a reservation sooner rather than later!
