Tamara Mayne was working as a designer and art director in 2012 when she decided to make candles as gifts with a candle-making kit from her local craft store. She became deeply obsessed with aromatherapy and the art of candle making and the rest, of course, is history. Brooklyn Candle Studio, an eco-conscious company, uses recyclable packaging and shipping materials and as little plastic as possible. The small team ethically produces candles in studio space in Industry City, a hub of makers, designers, artists, and small businesses.
