[WATCH] How Does a NYC Street Cart Pretzel Compare to an Authentic German Bretzel?

We visited Cologne in Germany. It is a great city that has the largest Dome church in Europe. I will show you this Dome, but I will also be trying a typically Germa Bretzel. Yes in Germany they write it with a B instead of saying Pretzel. My Pretzel adventure actually started last summer in New York City when I wanted to make a streetfood Stufr and tasted a Pretzel. But it was so dry, I didn’t even finish the Stufr. But the footage from NYC is included in this video. German food is so good so enjoy this German food review. Want more German travel tips? It's no secret that soft pretzels in NYC street carts are quite bad, so it should be no surprise that this comparison review—against a legitimate bakery in Germany—would land in their favor. Next time this reviewer is in NYC, we would recommend the pretzel croissant at Breads Bakery in Union Square instead.

The Brooklyn Botanic Garden has an entire section dedicated to blooming Japanese Cherry trees called the Cherry Walk, and they have just started their first bloom for the Spring. It is the most highly anticipated event of the year at the Gardens, so the BBG has even setup a special webpage where you can track the blooming progress on their CherryWatch Blossom Status Map.

We're not yet in full bloom and there are plenty of bare trees, but some of the Japanese Cherry Trees have started blooming! Time to plan your visit in the coming weeks!
