The Moving Camera is an interesting photography project from photographer and designer Maciej Markowicz in which he took an old Volkswagon Bus and converted it into a giant working camera that rolls through New York City to capture the "fleeting urban landscape".
The unique character of New York City has long captivated my imagination; its vigor, vivid ambiance, and the eternal flux of the daily transcendent chaos. The glass of the cityscape acts as a mirror, reflecting a prismatic light on the transfixing grid of streets and avenues. In order to capture the spirit of the city, I decided to employ the concept of a moving camera – literally a photographic device on wheels that travels through the city, recording the unfolding flux of life within.
