New York At Its Core: New Exhibit at Museum of the City of New York Confronts Civil Rights

The Museum of the City of New York has a new exhibition titled New York at Its Core that tells the story of how New York transitioned from a small Dutch village to a booming metropolis in only four centuries.

As part of the exhibition, the stories and history of Civil Rights activism and movements in New York City history will be on display.

Peer into the tumultuous, transformative era of New York City in the 1960s and discover some of the forces that shaped the Civil Rights movement across the city grid in this behind-the-scenes glimpse into the making of the Museum of the City of New York’s upcoming NEW YORK AT ITS CORE exhibition.
