5 years ago, local comedian Doug Smith was in the subway when he saw a woman being sexually assaulted by a presumably homeless individual. He intervened, allowing the woman time to escape, but was slashed in the face with a knife in the process.

Now, Mr. Smith is fully healed with has a great sense of humor about his scars and story. The comedian recently created a new web series called Secret Weapon in which he dishes out advice on how to stop varied types of assailants on the streets of New York City.

This first episode involves using a fresh slice of dollar pizza to disarm three teenage assailants and save the day.
