Meet Martin the Cat, the Newest Member of Coney Island's 60th Precinct

This six-month-old Tabby cat is the newest member at Coney Island's Police Department. Martin the feline was left at their precinct in December and has warmed their hearts ever since.
The Brooklyn cops were able to convince their boss to crown him the precinct pet. They've chipped in for his food and shots, and he's adapted comfortably to his new home while chasing mice and nuzzling up to the men in blue.

He’s definitely lifted spirits. There’s not one person here, cop or civilian, that doesn’t adore this cat, said Deputy Inspector William Taylor.
