The Whitney Museum of American Art opened up their brand new building in the Meatpacking District to the public this weekend.
To help people get acclimated to their new home and neighborhood, the museum started a Whitney Focus series of videos where senior staff members and artists talk about the process of moving and setting it up.

In this capstone to the Whitney Stories video series, Adam Weinberg discusses his life in Museums, first as a curator and now as the Whitney's Alice Pratt Brown Director. As a driving force behind the Museum's expansion downtown, he provides insight into the process, which was realized under his leadership over the course of more than a decade, through the collaboration of hundreds of staff members—the Whitney Family.
