Lower East Side's Tenement Museum Allowing Photography One Day Only at Upcoming Snapshot Event

The incredible Tenement Museum in Manhattan's Lower East Side is one of the best museums in the City, revealing to visitors exactly how people would live packed into tiny crowded apartments over 100 years ago.

The museum has a strict no photography rule, but they have a few annual exceptions as part of their Snapshot event, with the next one occurring this Friday, December 4th.

The Tenement Museum is ready for its close-up! While breaking the museum's "no photos" rule, visitors can explore the restored apartments and German saloon of the historic tenement building. So bring your camera and take advantage of this rare opportunity - who knows what hidden corners you'll discover in our historic tenement.

Check out the event page for more information and to buy tickets, but hurry as they usually sell out pretty quickly.
