JFK Airport Now Has A Facility to Treat Your Pets Like The Royalty That They Are

JFK International Airport has an incredible $65 million pet terminal called The ARK.

The ARK is considered to be the world’s first privately owned, 24-hour animal terminal and airport quarantine center. Located in Cargo Building 78 in area D, in a facility shared by Air France, Alitalia and KLM

It has so much to offer including a Pet Oasis, an Equine & Livestock Export Center and an Aviary In-Transit Quarantine, and there’s even more features still being constructed. The team behind it stated that they truly wanted to construct a place to promote the humane and safe treatment of the animals at the airport. They have created a place for our pets to feel comfortable and cared for pre and post flights. It's wonderful to see our local airport making the safety of our animals a priority. Go JFK!
