James and Karla Murray Explore New York City: The New Statue of Liberty Museum & Ellis Island

Local pro photographers James and Karla Murray (previously) just launched a new YouTube series in which they explore neighborhoods around New York City from their unique perspective. In this episode, watch as they give you a tour of Liberty and Ellis Islands, and the new Statue of Liberty Museum.

In this episode we are tourists in our own City, visiting both the new Statue of Liberty Museum and both sides of Ellis Island including the off-limits Abandoned Ellis Island Hospital Complex as well as the Immigration Museum . Neither of us have ever visited Liberty Island before, so we were very excited to see the Statue of Liberty up close and have a sneak peek into the brand new Statue of Liberty Museum, which officially opens on May 16, 2019. We also love a scenic ferry ride and Statue Cruises provided amazing views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis island, New York Harbor and the New York City skyline. We also visit both sides of Ellis Island including the Ellis Island Immigration Museum and the off-limits Abandoned Ellis Island Hospital Complex.
