It's 93° Out, So Here Is a Pic From 100 Years Ago of Kids Licking an Ice Block to Cool You Down

It's insanely hot and humid out in the City right now, and you are probably sweating as you read this. They say that you can cool yourself down mentally simply by thinking of cold things, so here is a fantastic vintage photograph from 1913 of a bunch of kids licking a giant block of ice in front of an unknown grocery store.

Imagine your tongue riding across the smooth, cool ice. Canadian mountain spring water frozen, then carved out of a lake and shipped down to chill your body, sucking the heat out it with it's massive, frozen core.

Did it work?
