For the next 5 weeks the L Train will have extremely limited service between 8th Ave and Lorimer St. Construction closures will occur nightly between 11:30pm and 5am, and the line will be closed over the entire weekends as well.
Riders looking to travel between boroughs can take the L train to Lorimer Street, transfer to a northbound G train to Court Square and transfer there to a Times Square-bound 7 train. Transferring to a southbound G train at Lorimer Street then hopping on a westbound J or M train will get straphangers into lower Manhattan.
