Here's How the Center for Urban Community is Helping Provide Health Care for NYC's Homeless Population

The Center for Urban Community Services is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in New York City that seeks to rebuild the lives of homeless and disadvantaged individuals and families.

One of their new street outreach programs is from volunteer nurses and medical professionals that are offering free health care to New York City's 60,000+ homeless population.

There are more than 60,000 homeless people in New York City. Many of them suffer from severe health problems. The Center for Urban Community has set out to help.

Check out CUCS.org to learn more about the program.
