Global Citizen Festival 2015

On Saturday, September 26th @ Noon, the Global Citizen Festival is happening on the Great Lawn in Central Park with A-list headliners Pearl Jam, Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran and Coldplay.

The concert is incredibly a free ticketed concert, though as this video explains, you have do a little good karma first before getting one.

Depending on how involved you get with their Action Journeys, you can win swag, meet and greets or other VIP-level perks, all while helping to end extreme poverty across the globe.

2015 is the year for the movement to end poverty. This September at the UN General Assembly in New York, world leaders from 193 countries will announce new GLOBAL GOALS designed to fight inequality, protect our planet, and end extreme poverty by 2030. The festival is a critical lever for achieving policy and financial commitments that will shape the success of the Global Goals over the next 15 years.

Check out the festival page for more info on the festival, the Global Citizen organization, and how you can get involved.
