Formula E is a world class auto racing league that uses all electric cars capable of speeds up to 140 miles per hour. The location for the 2017 championship has just been revealed to be in Red Hook, Brooklyn.
Lower Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty will form a dramatic backdrop to the inaugural New York City ePrix, which the FIA Formula E Championship, the world’s first fully-electric racing series, today confirmed will take place in Red Hook, Brooklyn.
The Formula E championship is set for July 2017.
