Cinder Block Comedy Festival, a Williamsburg Festival Committed to Diversity in Comedic Performances

The Cinder Block Comedy Festival is a collection of comedians and venues over a one week period in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, this September.

What makes this comedy festival stand out over others is that the organizers are deeply committed to providing a truly diverse array of performers, rather than just checking a "token minority" off of a list.

The roundup of festival performers is quite impressive, and the 12 participating venues stretch from the Williamsburg Bridge up to McCarren Park.

Individual shows cost $15 for admission, but there are some great deals on passes which make a day or week of comedy much more affordable.

Check out the festival page for more info.
