British felt artist Lucy Sparrow is opening a special 1,200 sqft pop-up bodega this week at The Standard, High Line in which every one of the 8,000 items inside is completely made of felt. Any yes, you can purchase items as if you were in an actual bodega.

Next week British artist Lucy Sparrow will unveil her newest art installation– a 1,200-square-foot space she has conjured into an “immersive, fully stocked felt convenience store.” The store will contain 8,000 purchasable items, all made of felt. Snickers bar? Felt. Pack of Marlboros? Felt. Liter of milk? Felt. Bodega cat? Felt, probably.

The shop opens on June 5th and will be open for 4 weeks. You can meet the artist in person too, as Sparrow will be the one working the cash register in the felt bodega.
