Buying Locally-Sourced Veggies in New York City Just Got Easier

With all the preservatives, pesticides and travel time our food endures in the production process, it can be hard to eat nutrient-rich vegetables and fruits. That's where Square Roots Farm comes in, an urban farm from the minds of Tobias Peggs and Kimbal Musk. Since the farm's creation, it has gone from mentoring local entrepreneurs in botany to providing a delivery service of locally-sourced greens. Peggs says that:

your farmer will literally come to your desk and drop off same-day-harvested greens.

They intend to not only produce delicious greens, but to also provide the surrounding communities with access to nutritious foods. Square Roots Farm is based out of Brooklyn where they regularly hold events throughout the community.
