Bending Sounds: An Audio Exploration of New York City Subway Stations

Six years ago, Brooklyn cinematographer Tim Sessler, owner of film company Brooklyn Aerials, created this interesting exploration of sound in the New York City subway called Bending Sounds. In the video, he tours several different subway stations, picking up the sound of various subway buskers and musisicans doing their thing.

For the best experience, watch it with headphones!! :) Shot within a couple hours on a sunny Saturday afternoon, "Bending Sounds" is a test/experiment to capture the inspirational sounds and visuals of the NYC subway. Thanks a lot to all the musicians featured in this video - and obviously a big thanks to the Vimeo staff for featuring it!!
