It honestly makes me so happy to see people being passionate about something. Just sat down for lunch and there was a guy sitting across from me and from the time I sat down to the time I left all he talked about was super heroes and comics. He was wearing a Flash hoodie and a Green Lantern hat. You could tell in his voice how passionate he was about it. And hey, not really my thing, but good for you. What are you passionate about?

May 26, 1973: A roller derby triple-header at Shea Stadium involved contests between the Chiefs and the Bombers, the Pioneers and the Jolters, and finally the Chiefs and the Pioneers, in which the Chiefs prevailed. In this photo, a Jolter, left, struggled to keep his balance as Bob Hein of the Pioneers rolled past. “The fans hate me,” said Hein, who played with a broken cheekbone protected by a mask. “He had a fight and was penalized for ‘slugging,’”
